Why do I want to become a photographer?

Because I just got married 9/25 and my photographer took these pics! Its hard to pay that kind of money and not get a single great shot. There are a few ok shots, but we definitely made a mistake. I took better pics on my Canon SD1100, when I was in Cancun.

This one has a little razzle dazzle to it I guess: Should it have those circles around it?

Here are mine form Cancun on my Canon IS1100. A few years back I read a a lot about shutter, ISO and the basics, put that into these.

Maybe I'm to hard on her, but we were looking forward to these pictures and like I said only a few turned out ok.

She did not ruin it. Inspired me to be better than her I guess. As soon as I saw the pics, I told my wife, I'm buying a DSLR. Than she asked how much are those. I didn't respond.

What a lousy set of shots! The scene in that church looks very promising, too bad. On a lighter note I'm digging the back of your jacket! :twak:

It's great you have that attitude. Hope it wasn't too expensive.

And it's obvious you're already a better photog than whoever did your wedding.

looks like she didnt use an external flash in the church >.>. and the circle things you're talking about probably means DOF/bokeh. Maybe she was just photographing your wedding with a kit lens? but I think you should have looked at her portfolio before hiring her.......

Looks like a person with no knowledge of photography could've done that with a point and shoot. :er:
