Why Do People Make Their Beds?

Of course, a simple solution would be to always sleep in someone else's bed...

My bedroom is sacred. I spend a lot of money on really good sheets and pillows. I like it to be nice and welcoming so I do make my bed everyday. As far as the bedbugs go we have an agreement. They pinch me where I liked to be pinched and so we are all happy campers!

The only time I make the bed is when a girl is coming over.

If it were all sheets and blankets here, I'd probably make my beds more thoroughly, for messed up sheets are awful. (Sheets and blankets are awful, anyway, I think, I just LOVE my duvet!) With a sheet that clings itself all around the mattress and the cases around pillow and duvet I find "not" making the beds, i.e. just putting them into "airing-mode", is easy and ... ok.

*OK. So I ran amok in a MacDonald's once - but the Judge accepted my plea of justifiable mass homicide on the grounds of diminished responsibility. Someone had spilt a Coke down my air vents. Modifications have now solved the problem.

ok... I started to make my bed after a hmm.. bit embarrasing situation.... well.. my friend came to visit me, and of course my bed was VERY messy.... so uhmmm... I throw the sheet away (well... to the corner of the bed) and he and I... saw my well... underwear... and dirty socks...
