Why do you take photos?

Having read the thread on professional stickers etc. I was wondering why you all take photos, so I thought I'd try one of these poll jobbies. I'll try and second-guess some answers, but please don't hesitate to speak up in the text if they are all rubbish and don't fit you.

Taking Photo's is like a box of chocolates, you never know what your gonna get ..... Time seems to prove that what may appear to be the perfect shot really isnt, but the one that looks horrible on the LCD screen is really the price Winner!!

Very true in my life, I also like to capture what interests me, and I love all the details you dont put attention with your eyes
