Willing to Play? New Wedding Shots

I posted earlier in the week that I was deciding to snap a few pics at my sister's wedding on the ocean, completely novice style, as I am still learning my camera and how to shoot properly. She invited her brother in law to shoot, he is new to the 'professional' scene, so I didn't want to get in his way, and was not able to capture the best shots IMHO. I am SO disappointed in my shots, almost EVERY one the focus fell where I didn't want it to. Is there anyone willing to help me out, teach me how to sharpen or fix some of the shots I took? I have Photoshop Elements 6 and have been for the past 6 hours just adjusting one stinkin pic that just keeps looking 'fake' no matter what I do.
