Windows/Photoshop not recognizing Canon Raw?

Ok so the files open just fine, but I either have to navigate to the folder or drag and drop into photoshop. Is there anyway to set it so I can just double click and have it open in photoshop? I was able to do with with the Nikon NEF but not canon raw.

Please note, I have tried the "Open with" option many times and it doesn't seem to recognize photoshop as an option.

Set PS as the default application for .rc2 files. Right-click, "Open with", scroll down to "Select Default Program", navigate to PS?.exe, double click and that should do it.

Tried that already. Lets me select photoshop, but doesn't apply change. It seems like a windows issue rather than photoshop.

Are you trying to open them in Bridge or just in Windows?

That works but it means I have to go through bridge every time and I'd rather drag and drop.

Trying to get it so when I click on the file it opens up right in photoshop rather than any other program.
