Windowseat

Taken from the windowseat of a KLM Fokker 70 just after taking off from Schiphol Amsterdam. The runway on the image is a long disputed new runway with the name "Polderbaan".

Not a bad idea, I will try to get them from the air. Would be a great picture as an entrence to the site... thanks for the sugestion

It's only that there are no tulip fields right around Amsterdam-Schipohl, as far as I know, so tulips and runway will exclude themselves, won't they, André?

But they're not that far away...
...and they are a true sight in May and June (which is the season, isn't it?)

how did you get it so clear?
everytime i've taken pics out of a plane window, i got either loads of reflection from inside, distortion from the window shape or muck/smears on the glass...

By taking a lot of pictures.... a lot of them. I make so many flights that I run into a clean window every ones in a while.
