Wine drinkers

Drinking a bottle of Rex Goliath Merlot (California) now. ~$6/bottle.

I'm not a wine snob, but I'd say it's not bad for $6...

I enjoy Ruby Red myself....:sexywink:

Josh you are going to spend $36 on a decanter to pour a $6 wine into it? lol Just buy more wine!!!

Too right. I was talking with a distributor just the other week and she even mentioned that Rex Goliath was probably the best bang for the buck.

I do buy good wine (and beer) on occasion. ;)

I can't seem to justify $20 for a bottle of wine to the wife lately though...

When I was single (and with no kids), I wouldn't think twice about spending much more than that...

We try to stay around $11 or so. We go to your old stomping ground to buy wine. I think we talked about that before. We can buy stuff sooo much cheaper there compared to here in Pa.

I remember there used to be checkpoints at the border - checking specifically for wine bottles ... something about state taxes on alcohol...

I think they passed some kinda law now that the cops can't stalk you out of the parking lot or stop you unless there is another reason.......like speeding.....lol

Haven't seen it around here yet. There are couple local wineries I've been meaning to try - their bottles are just way over priced...

($50 for what is probably a $10 bottle.)

You guys are so lucky with the variety of inexpensive wines in the US. We have some great wines here in BC but have to spend $18 and up. There are a few exceptions of course but they are few and far between.

I pay $18-$25 for a bottle of Port. I only usually have one glass of that....lol
