IPHONE 5, FOR THE WIN!

This is largely a case of "being there, with a camera" and shooting a pano...what is the iPhone 5? isn't it an f/2.8, multi-element lens with an 8 MP backside-illuminated sensor behind it? In other words, a more-capable camera than MOST compact cameras from just a few years ago???

Totally a case of right place right time. I was very happy to see that even my last ditch option can work well and it makes a good example that its not the gear that makes the photo.
