Winter Shot

Ok not the snow .. or the rain or the other things traditionally thought of when you think of winter. When you are a football photographer then you pray for a shot like this.

I just love this ... he has the ball .. the grass is green ... the lights in the backgrpound and a sunset behind all of that !


I simply love it ... hope you do too....

But where are the others?
Wouldn't they want to get the ball back? Wouldn't they run to him and try to take it away from him? He looks so ... alone!

That's partially why I love this shot ... nearly all other shots you take in football you have another in the shot ... this player (Jazz Gold) is in full control .. and he delivered the sweetest of crosses that got Croydon's 3rd goal of the day.
