Wireless File Transfer on Santa Shoot

A last minute job, but what is the best way to transfer files to a computer at a photos with santa event? Using a Canon 5d MkII. I was looking at the Canon WFT-E4A wireless transmitter, but that is a hefty price of $900. Anyone know how the Eye-fi sd card works with a sd-cf adapter?
