Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Ok, so i purchased the sb-600 a while ago and since my d40 cannot trigger it wirelessly I am looking into purchasing a transmitter. However I have spent my free time the last few days searching for info. on what i need to accomplish this and cannot find anything comprehensive.

I know that the sb-600 receives wireless signal, but what do i need to utilize this technology, can i use something like this http://www.adorama.com/MST.html or this http://www.adorama.com/MRWRTR4CH.html
I have heard alot about the cheap ebay ones but I cannot seem to find them.
Can someone please lead me in the right direction here because I am getting very frustrated.

BTW: I'm sure there has already been a forum post about this already but I'm REALLY tired of searching.

No need to explain everything yourself, even a link would be helpful.

No no no. The flash can only receive a wireless CLS signal from a Nikon capable flash. That is the pre-flashes which metre the light on D70 and upwards can be coded with a signal that the wireless flash reads before the exposure. But as mentioned you need a CLS capable flash and body for that.

Your best option however is still radio triggers. You WILL also need a receiver. As for ebay: http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?from=R40&_trksid=m37&satitle=flash+trigger&category0= take your pick. They are called "wireless flash triggers" for when you make your own searches.
