While I don't find the subject matter especially interesting (that's purely subjective anyway), the B&W conversions are very good! #2 needs to be leveled/perspective-corrected, and I'd suggest removing the black vignettes; they seem to blend in and confuse the eye.

I'm no expert, so can't really C&C. I have trouble with my B&W, but let me tell you... I love your first shot there! I can see myself sitting there with my husband watching the kids playing in the water..... very relaxing.:thumbup:
