Black cloth material draped over recliner, desk lamp lighting from top-right, "flashlight" app on cellphone used for "rim lighting"...still too shallow of focus...but this is what I came up with one night, snowed in and a tad bored:

LOL i wondered what the hell i was gonna find in here!

I should cut it down to size first...it is a half roll of fabric...I re-installed this OS and so I need to re-calibrate the monitor, unless yours is too bright...all I see is black like it should be...or am I the only one? This is on my recliner at the front part of the chair, any suggestions as to how to move it any further away from the back of the chair...I live in an efficiency and so the entertainment center is already pressed at my back when I took this...I'll look for a bigger place to take this and others like it in the future, we're possibly moving our office to a new location and so I may have the room there at that time, won't be until after the start of 2011

I see alot of crinkles in the cloth you're using. I see the issue there, Try setting it up on a bench or something here I can judge it's about 6 inches away from your background. Make it a foot or so maybe more and then retake the shot.

I will re-do the shot...I have limited space but an active imagination, I'll put it to use...thank you for the comments and suggestions, very helpful indeed...

I just calibrated my monitor, albeit with the Windows 7 calibration tool...I guess I could invest in a real tool...but whatever, I'm not a printing press...

How bright do you all have your monitors set to see the wrinkled fabric???

I recently calibrated my monitor too but I'm not seeing wrinkles either...

I see them slightly and I do realize why it needs to be fixed. I'll be looking at making an actual small-product setup soon...I just have to find the space, an efficiency isn't the best area, of course if I re-arranged things a little I may be able to create the space...perhaps I'll take some snapshots of my apartment for reference...

Thanks for the edit sweaty hands, er schwettylens. Makes it look pretty epic...
