wood duck and turtle

    there were wood ducks all over the place at my "bird park" this afternoon...there must've been 15 or 20 males in the lagoon alone, all trying to gain favor with one of the 3 females present. this little fella apparently found the competition a bit tiring, and decided to sit out for a while. the turtle was unsympathetic.

    Nice shots. I think I would have been tempted to clone out some of that floating stuff (leaves?) in the water.
