WordPress Theme to Collect Meta Data on Images?

I am working on a family slide scanning project and I had a thought that it would be great if there was a Word Press theme where I could post the scanned images online in a password protected site, and family members could access them and enter information about the images, i.e. metadata...year, who is in picture, location, details.


It would get even better if I could download the metadata and attach it to a file somewhat seamlessly without re-entering the data. Not a must, but nice.

Any ideas and thanks in advance...

There is a plugin for WordPress called Exifography https://wordpress.org/plugins/thesography/ that will display Exif data.
