Always seem to like rhinos.... thought "what the hay, put a rhino in it"

I like it a lot, but I can't read the word 'photography' that well...
 
This is not directed at you personally but at watermarks in general. No matter how discreet, watermarks are a distraction and usually unnecessary. I don't really see the need to watermark anything other than professional proofs that are being shared with a client, especially family photos.
 
As someone who has had more than one image "borrowed" without permission I have to disagree. I always save two (or more) copies of each image, one that is watermarked and shared (mainly by my wife on social media) and another that is not marked that is saved for printing/storage.

I do agree they are distracting, but I have to say.... that is sorta the point of them.

I also use watermarks. I know distracting.... even if it's a tiny one...
But then people have to do an effort to borrow it, cut it out, photoshop it away...
