Below is a quick edit of a shot I was happy with from today

1st Attempt

Shot was taken at silver falls state park. It looks a little dark but I was trying to draw the colors out.
Shot with Nikon d700 & 14-24mm.

I don't like the first one. It almost looks like there is a little bit of distortion but it could just be me!

I really like the second one despite the fact that its underexposed. I think you could still draw the colors out with a properly exposed pictures. I hope you don't mind - I did a quick edit. I did a levels adjustment to brighten it up a little and another adjustment to darken the waterfall a tad bit since it became too bright. The oranges and greens are a little to vibrant and saturated but it could be fixed - I didn't touch the colors at all.

I know its not great - it literally took 2 minutes but I think it looks better a little brighter. I might have made it a little too bright.

Like what you did and appreciate the help! I like the 2nd one you added to flickr a lot. It really brings everything out nicely.
