Yes... but the focal length was 280mm, not 800mm. Not quite the same thing.


Anyway... I don't think Art Morris was "cheating" per se... it's possible with the more recent IS systems, although his keeper rate will invariably suffer.

Aye but at 1/100sec the other problem is not just lens/camera shake but subject motion which can often lead to the bigger problem of softer shots at slow speeds.
