Tbh, I've never been a fan of shots with the head cut off. (Except in rare shots)

Gotta say though, I think it's AWESOME that you captured this! Definitely one for the memory book!!!

Yeah, I cropped the head to get it tight enough so the eyes took you to the paper ... also had to crop out the beer cans, socks, and other crap on the table

This is excellent. Had to be in colour with that tie! This is the kind of shot that could add so much to run-of-the-mill wedding photography. I like the tight crop and the slight movement in the hand. Nice one.

I like it! I love light and colours. Your goal to bring eyes to the paper is achieved. I'm not disturbed by the head crop, since the shape of the top of the head wouldn't add anything to the pic. Well done!
