Just an FYI..... beware there's a lot of knock-offs. Many are obvious they're 3rd-party, but some come pretty close to a genuine and it's hard to tell the difference. Caveat Emptor.

I have bought 2 of these knock-offs and am very pleased. Gave the 1st one to my brother.

This D7000 grip supports a considerably heavy 24-70 lens while on tripod no problem, and works flawlessly.
