yellow calla lilly for c&c

I picked a flower, put a black jacket over a chair and tried some shots in night-time dining room light for fun. How's this? I might try in the morning with some sunlight coming in the window.

Not bad, but it does not seem to be in focus. I would have expected the edges of the flower to be sharper, particularly against a black background.

I agree it was blurry. There was just not enough light in my dining room last night. This one was taken this morning with the aid of an open window and overcast skies, and I sprayed some water drops for effect. How's this one?
