I've seen a number of moon shots posted lately and decided to see if I had learned anything from those threads. Here is my attempt.

it's a good shot, but how many pictures can you take of the moon? you're not gonna get the best ones in the world either because all the famous ones were taken by nasa in space.. they got a little closer than we can get...
what you need to do is try to figure out a different way to show the moon, include some other elements in the picture.. a silhouette of a tree, the ocean in the foreground.. be creative

True! I was actually just trying to get a clear shot showing some detail. in the past, i've gotten nothing but a blob of light.
