Please could some professionals share with an amateur photographer their top 10 tips when using Lightroom to create some beautiful work. TIA.

Just kidding - sort of. I use Capture NX2 for NEF conversion (Nikon shooter) and Photo Mechanic for photo management.
I own LR, but it just does not fit into my workflow at the moment - though I do keep trying.

Your question is a bit vague. Perhaps if you were to clue us in on what you were trying to do, someone could give you some specific answers.

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder - need some details. I've seen a few people recommend THIS.
