Over time you seem to have developed a style of processing, so my opinion here is in no way meant to reflect negatively on that processing choice, it's just a different perspective. The skin tones in the image as presented, seem muddy. In looking at the image in more detail the histogram in the original reflects a lack of data, as below, especially in the midtones, high midtones, and highlights. In studio, you have the advantage of controlling the light across the image, adding to one area, subtracting from another.
