1,000,000+ shutter actuations

Hey folks,

I just thought you some of you might find this interesting. Today at work, one of our camera's (5DmkIII) finally pooped out after recently hitting its 1 millionth shutter actuation. I can't say what we're using them for outside of "product photography", but I thought it was a good indicator of just how much abuse these cameras can really take.

That said, about 20K actuations past the 1 million mark, parts appeared to begin disintegrating, coating the sensor is shrapnel that simply wouldn't keep off once cleaned, causing us to retire the body altogether.
