I got a Nikon 70-210mm from B&H last week. Today is the first chance I've had to try it out. I had a few minutes to spend tramping around this afternoon. I was quite pleased with how the lens performed considering the gray, cloudy day, being handheld, and me not really knowing what I'm doing.
Here are a few samples from today. Keep in mind, I'm a newbie.
That blackbird is a little out of focus, I know, but I think they're cool birds.
I didn't do any editing except cropping. What do ya think? (of the lens, not my abilities
)
Also, I seem to have some dust somewhere inside my camera. It shows up in photos of the sky (notice in the hawk photo). How do I get that out?
