I have a ton of pics of myself... it doesn't mean I have a huge ego... it means that I don't have a model available.

I have a boatload of pictures of myself, I dont post them all, but I too run out of subjects and find ways to take pictures of myself.

One night I spent a few hours and a few beers playing with a flashlight and long exposures, I think i took over 100 shots of myself.

So to do this shot you dont really need a dark room I dont think. You have your light source on one side with something to reflect it back into your subject on the other side, make sure the camera is metered for your light source and not the ambient light around your subject. It should turn out that only your subject is lit.

I did something similar Saturday only not with water.
