ok, so as some of you know, I bought a 55mm lens from a co-worker with 7 different filters. What the heck do I do with these filters? I know you put them on your lens. Does anyone have any pictures with different filters?

I have different color filters: Red, Green, Blue, Orange, a color correction filter, and a couple I have no idea what they are for.

Just wondering if anyone uses different colored filters and how you use them.

    Thanks

Those colored filters are often used as contrast filters for black & white photography. IMO, they are pretty much obsolete for digital photography. Now if you have a polarizer filter, that's a good one.

    Thanks.

I do have a circular polarizer that I use all the time.
