    Nice, moody picture ... wonderful eyes.
    If he had just one more catchlight somehow in his left eye... I can see this was all natural light and you have something like a bright table reflect in his near eye (mostly) .. but some more?

    Well, actually that would be something for our portrait specialists to comment about really ... should I move this from the General Gallery to the Portrait Gallery for you?

    Yep, I think his face is too dark. A fill of some sort would probably have helped this image.
