Im doing a documentary with a classmate on the Renaissance Fair in southern california, and I brought along the D80.

The jousting shots were done with a borrowed (and absolutely amazing) 80-200mm VR Nikkor, and the people shots were using my 50mm 1.8 Nikkor.

I really like them all. Great series.

All of them are really sharp too. Nice work. Looks like that VR lense did it's job.

Thirteen and fifteen are definitely my favourites. They're the moments most people won't see, and I think that's what makes them so special.

The entire series is beautiful, however.

okay, I just may have to watch the documentary, as I know zilch about renaissance fairs and I'm slightly intrigued... I think... that is fake blood, right?

My favorites are #3 and #15.

Wow, thanks for all the comments and compliments! :D

Haha, thats a metal cup. There was a lot of people with those, Im not quite sure why they had it on their heads though :p

Yep, they use blood packets

Oh jeez, thats a tough one. Im not sure tbh.

If you saw some students with a Sony HDV, giant Bogen tripod, sound equipment etc, that was us =P. I was the hispanic/filipino guy either shooting video or using the D80.
