has anyone ever tried lighting a dj with softboxes? space would be minimal, but i think i could work with that. that's really the only problem i can see..
i might be covering a friend of a friend spinning in the near future, and was wondering if someone had experience doing this?

I would go with a good diffuser on a powerful flash mounted on a bracket. A full lighting setup would be far too cumbersome, and as a DJ, I can tell you it would also be annoying.
