Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
I've been working on my "people" pictures and seem to be doing a lot better. Below is a picture I took of my uncle and while I love the picture, there's a chair in the way. Does it detract terribly? Is there really any way to crop it out without ruining the focus?

Its too small to work with, but you can crop it any way you like with the marquee tool in most editing programs, drag/draw a marquee around what you want to keep, then go to image in the toolbar, click to dropdown, then look for the word crop, click n your done. H

I think, if you could cut some part of the picture and remain the main part, it will be better. Try to include some part of the chair up to small part of arm of the chair. This will come up more focused on your uncle.

if you take away almost all the chair and leave just a little, but leave everything in the top left where it is, his face would be right in the upper left quadrant and the picture would obey the rule of thirds, making it more interesting.
