can anyone give me an idea of how to get pricing on custom albums without actually "joining" an album manufactorer's little club?

i found them to be expensive, i cant remember how much they were exactly now... i dont understand why buying albums is so expensive. They really eat into your profit. Ive personally been looking for bulk order stuff but i cant find a thing. They're all really pricey and at the cost of the shoot theres not much in it for me.
