I read a site explaining the histogram and I still didn't completely understand it. Some of these things are starting to get a little tricky.

The next page luminance and color is where I started to get real cornfused.

So my edit using Derrel's method. Although I did lay some color down in lightroom where the clouds are. Two versions, one obviously has more sharpening. What do you think?

I had debated getting this on a gallery wrap. Its cheaper than framing lol but I don't think so looking again. I wasn't sure if two was going to be too much. I guess I might just have to get them both printed.

Very nice, both are a great improvements.

I didn't have it at work, but you might want to try some Lightroom actions that I have. They are 'blue sky' actions from Matt K. (Lightroom Killer Tips).

The second set is much better than the first set you posted, nice job.
I also prefer the first in the second set.

If you dont know the Levels and Curves in photoshop, really get to know them. They are amazing tools that can really make a difference.

Thanks Pierre, I am working on it. I only have Lightroom and PSE8 and havent done much with PSE8 since I am loving lightroom. More on my gigantic list of things to study.
