Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Hey guys just got into photography and am excited to learn some fun stuff.

I took these photos the night/morning after I got my camera. These are straight from the camera no editing at all. The night photos I had no tripod or anything.

All pictures are taken using my new Canon T1i and the kit lens (18-55mm)

Any tips would be very appreciative.

Welcome to the forum!

1 is kind of boring to me. No real subject within the flower pot. Try a different angle, a little closer, and some really sharp focus on something in there.

2 is way under exposed. I'm gonna guess that you didn't have a very long shutter speed on this one. Get a tripod, set your ISO as low as you can get it, set the aperature to give you a good DOF and let the shutter stay open for a while to expose the buildings and such. This will also give you longer light trails.

3. A little better in the exposure area, a little shaky but a tripod and a remote switch will fix that. That fence is pretty distracting.

Overall, at least you're trying. Don't give up! Shoot everything!

Thanks for the reply. I will try those again soon and start reading up a bit more.
