2 for C&C Please

Couple of pictures I took on the weekend. Mostly looking for C&C on the lighting, but comments of any kind of welcome.

Theres are takin with a 430 EXII through a shoot through umbrella, camera right, reflector child right, and a YN-560 fired at the background.

White balance looks way off to me. Could use more light camera left. Also, as you pointed out I would prefer her feet not be cut off in the first photo.

#1. Good camera perspective. I would have liked a bit deeper DOF. Being high key you don't need shallow DOF for separation by use of selective focus.

The childs face is under exposed (3/4 of a stop). You want skin highlights between 235 and 240 in the Red color channel (assuming white balance has been set). The light is to high and the nose shadow extends well below the lip line.

It's to bad the drop cloth on the floor is underexposed, gray, wrinkled, and not white like the background. The wrinkles draw attention away from the childs face.
