What's new

2 photos from a shoot for class. C&C

The exposure, colour and light are good. I don't understand the composition choices in the first pic and the way the clock is held looks very unnatural in the second.

Both are fantastic shots IMO. What were the project requirements specifically?
Nice job.

ETA - minor point upon looking at the photos again - the lighting could be a tad stronger on both....i.e. in photo 1- it would be nice to have a bit more light at the front of your model and/or on the clock she's holding.

It was a group project with 2 people combining their styles. I love urban decay, texture and color my partner is really big on portraiture and people which I am not. The concept is kind of forgotten time hint the broken clock and old textured wall. The rest of the non model shots are in the general gallery.

Neat project! In that light, I think the first shot is actually the best for your assignment, but I think that it's not quite in balance in terms of the requirements - the emphasis is much more on urban decay than portraiture - I see the peeling paint long before I even look at model. Perhaps if the model had turned her head just a bit to look at the camera? Still a really strong shot though. Good job.

I like #1; pretty cool - kinda eerie!

I really like the texture of the wall in the first photo.
