2 reasons for this

i like the water mark part :)

what's "EXIF or IPTC information"?

Congrats on 300, gonna pop this over to the general forum though. Hope that's alright.

Exif is information you can imbed into an image. Digital cameras do it and leave things like the brand name of the camera, the focal length, the shutter speed, etc. It's handy.
I use http://www.irfanview.com to view it all. It's free but I'm not sure if it'll edit it as I've never tried. Probably does though.

I have been adding things like comment and copyright to my digital pics. Also you can export Exifer to a paper format (csv to pull into something like MS Excel) then print out or seach.

I created diffrent copyright in it so I can add wether or not me, the wife, or Junior Lensmeister took the picture. Als o some other catorgories like Family, Friends, General, football etc. Then I can search the categories to locate a photo.

When/If I get a EOS 20D, 10D, or 350D I can add info to the Exif more.

FOr me the Exifer has all I need right now.

I'll look at irfanview when the kids are asleep about 9 tonight ;) and after CSI: New York ;)
