(2 Shoots for C&C, my apologies.)

I did two separate shoots, one of a friend in a park, and one with my sister at San Destin beach. Enjoy.

Also, what do you think of the new logo?

Sorry - too many for one thread! Pick three or four that you would especially like some feedback on. The only one I don't like is #7 - creepy. However, I do love # 4 - the lighting is gorgeous.

Sorry! I updated the thread! The one you though was creepy was actually shot for a horror picture competition, so I guess I did well.

C&C per req:

1. Not a bad shot, but watch the small things; the tips of the fingers on her right hand are cropped, and she's suffering a bad case of raccoon eyes. A large reflector low image left would have solved this nicely.

2. I like the composition here, but I think the use of a CPOL to control the reflections on the water would have helped. She also doesn't look very happy here, which, IMO, detracts from the image.

3. Nice, but a fill flash or reflector to provide a catchlight and impart some life in her eyes would have helped. Not overly fond of the lighting in this one. Some deep shadows and bright/blown highlights. Her pose is also a little awkward as she appears to be straining her neck.

4. Good, but a little over-exposed on the whites.

5. Very nice. This one works really well. Again a reflector to impart a little fill light on the [image] left side of her face wouldn't have gone amiss. I would also try and avoid having the horizon at the same level as her head.

6. Seems a little cool and maybe 1/3 stop under-exposed.

Overall, they're nice images with some minor technical niggles. The logo is much less obnoxious than many.

Just my $00.02 worth - Your mileage may vary.

Wow! Sorry it took so long to reply! I totally forgot about this thread!

tirediron: It seems like one of my major problems are with fill light and needed a reflector. Do you know of a way to have a reflector without an assistant to hold one?
