24-70 and 70-200

What do you shoot primarily... ex landscape, portraits, etc. and which lens do you use the most?

24-70 for landscape, 70-200 for portrait.

If I'm limited to those two choices, than what Robin said, but my preference is the 85 1.4 for most portrait work, and 20, 24, and 35mm primes for landscape work.

I have both the lenses you mentioned in your OP. I could live w/o the 24-70, but not the 70-200 EVER. I would just substitute the 24-70 with a couple of primes when needed.

Landscape, I would use 35mm; portraits, I would use 50mm.

I have the 24~105 and the 70~200. I use the 24~105 for 95% of my landscape photography. It is a great lens.
