Heres some from my second wedding (as a second shooter). It was a hot day, (+40 C with the humidex) but we managed to get through it. Thanks for viewing, thoughts and opinions welcome as always.

pretty pics. this might be my screen, but your whites look like they have a bit of blue in them (veil and her dress) this is easily fixed with the desaturate tool in ps i would use it at like 50% or so of course on a duplicate layer. :-) #2 her face looks a little green

i like the shot of all of them together... posed nicely without looking posed. and the bridge was is an awesome shot. :-D

oh and i love how the dress in the background of your shoe shot and you turned on shoe around.. nice and creative IMO

You are in need of a reflector on shots 2-5, and a fill flash on 3.

#2 there is something not right about his head..I dont know if its a case of bad pp or what.

Not a fan of the sunglases on the groom in shots 2 and 4 since the bride is without.

#10 her expression is not pleasing at all, and the lighting on her nose and face are really flat, I can barely distinguish btw her nose and right check.

I think the group shots could be a little tighter, my eyes wander a lot since there is unused space. I like the framing the pillars do, but could have been brought in still.

I do like 1,8, and 9.

Her dress is completely blown in most of the shots where you can see it, you've lost all the detail in what appears to be a detailed dress. #6 is nice, but should be leveled. Your shoe/dress shot is probably the best out of all of them.

#3 I had to look for the groom in this picture because he is not the focal point.

#6 Looks like a picture of bridge post that happens to have a bride and groom standing above it.

Overall you did great. Just need a little more wb adjustment. I don't see anything blown. Good job!

the close ups are nice. not really feeling the group pics though. Focus seems a bit soft. They look happy though. what lens did you use here?

Uh.. really? Is this a joke? You don't see in #5 where the dress is completely blown out, there is absolutely no detail in the dress? Am I on Candid Forum?

It is white with sun on it. No its not blown. If it did, only little spots and not a big deal. He did his best with exposure without using additional lighting. If you want the white in the sun to be at 0, then everything is goin to be underexposed. That is what white fabric will look at +2 region.. no it is not blown.

I don't mind your critique at all, but what would you have done differently do prevent this? This was around 2:00pm, sun almost directly above, and obviously extremely bright. As Schwetty said, without additional lighting this would be very hard to prevent.

On a side note, thanks for all the comments/suggestions people.

Besides the shoe pictures, these were all taken with the 70-200 F4 L. Shoe pics were takin with the 18-135 kit.

#1, i guess the subject is the shoes... i would have zoomed in on the shoes a it more. Also the back of the shoes are a bit OOF.

#2, #3 - you need fill flash or reflector... also the vignetting doesn't work for me on these.

#4 - i like this one, nice composition with the railway tracks

#5 - seems a bit over exposed, can't see details of the dress. Fill flash or reflector on her face while on the otherside, diffuse the sun light a bit.

#6 - interesting shot, doesn't really work for me, but you may want to straighten it out.

#7 - nice shot, but i would tighten up the crop a bit and clone/heal out some of the distracting signs in the background.

#8 - nice shot, but i'm not a fan of chopped off elbows and fingers.

#9 - yes, this worked for me. I like this one.

#10 - not bad, but straighten the shot up and clone/heal out the red thing on the edge

not bad overall though.

Perhaps your monitor is poorly calibrated, but the majority of your whites have an extremely "cool", blue-ish color cast to them, and it looks bad.

ya, whites seem a hair cold, and i'm not a fan of sunglasses, otherwise not terrible considering time + lighting.

Just to add to all of the CC above is something about the sunglasses... All or none. If someone does not have a pair, then leave them out. The same thing goes with anything. If Dad forgot his jacket, then everone else needs to leave their jackets off. These little details attract the eye.
