Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
So it rained the ENTIRE day. POURED.
We were stuck indoors.

I've only had time to edit one pic.

Would love opinions.

If I had to be picky, I would say the window? coming out of the top of her head is a bit distracting. Maybe try and burn that down or remove it all together if possible.

Other than that, looks like a good start.

Vignette makes her arm awful

I can fix that :)

as I'm taking more time to shoot my next wedding or any shoot, I'm beginning to realize not to take shots with the intention in my head "i'm going to use photoshop to fix that" unless it's come to a point that I have absolutely no choice but to photoshop it.

I'd take the shot as close as to post production as possible from the camera itself. Of course you may have to fix WB in PP and perhaps even make it a bit brighter but in PP your workflow would go much faster.

BTW, what were your settings? Were any flash used? I see slight shadows and cannon make of what light source was used. Also I 2nd the arm comment. perhaps remove it or clone it out.

I feel ya!!! I just don't know how to practice more in this type of setting. Do I just walk into a church and start shooting? haha Will they mind?

I am sure I used flash...
but I don't know how to check that?

I would have rather taken them outside, but it was pouring buckets...

I think this is a good shot. Anything outside of what you have is just personal preferences. If you are interested, here is a tweak that shows my preferences. After 6 layers of adjustments, it is only marginally different from yours. I agree with gsgary that the vignette is not flattering on the arm.

Go at an 'off' time and ask nicely - I've done this several times and had no problem.

The window looks crown like so leave it. I would band aid all the skin defects but not freckles. Only the little bumps etc. I would trim off the right hand edge a hair to eliminate that pole on the edge and maybe a lot to make both sides symmetrical (left and right)
