Cant recommend this tripod highly enough.This model is Frank,there are many Eddie,Eric etc,all named after rock stars for easy identification,just a clever marketing ploy.Frank is the sturdiest in the range.The built quality and attention to detail is excellent,Carbon with screw fit legs,extends to around 6ft ( 1.8m),more when central column extended,Comes with the airball head 2 which is sturdy and smooth with well made dials,and all you could want. Airball head can be fitted directly to the tripod without the centre column,Centre column can also be reversed up side down for tricky macro shots although the legs spread well out for a low position anyway.One legs unscrews and can be used as a monopod,with a supplied extension if you need extra height,3 legged thing are a British company and give a 5 year warranty with these such is there confidence in there engineering,,,also a free repair service outside of warranty with parts at cost price.The writing you see is on a zip off neoprene sleeve and is i think designed to identify the leg for screwing off as a monopod,truly outstanding
