350d Software?

Hi

I recently bought a used 350d without any software.

I already had the ZoombrowserEx software from my Powershot , and I downloaded the updater from this site, by putting in the 350ds camera details

But when I come to download the images from my 350d using ZoombrowserEx a message comes up with 'your camera is not compatible'
or something along those lines.

Does anyone know if I any doing anything wrong or where I can get the correct software for my 350d,

Don't use the software to upload your photos...it's that simple. If you hook the camera to the computer, it should show up as an external drive...just drag & drop the files onto your hard drive.

Even better, get yourself a CF card reader...they are only $20. Then all you do is take the card out of the camera and use the reader to transfer the files. This not only saves camera batter power...but keeps you from having a cord tethered to your camera, while it's sitting on a desk...which is just asking for someone to catch the cord and send the camera crashing to the floor.
