800-400mm lens

Hey all!

Has anyone had any experience with the Nikon or Sigma 80-400mm lenses?

I am toying with the idea of buying one to use with my N80 for wildlife photography, but I am interested in hearing some other folks' opinions (good and bad!).

Can anyone share some thoughts :?:

Used Nikon 80-400VR on my N80, superb! if the need for fast focus is not an issue.
