800th Birthday celebrations.

Don't know if this is the right topic but here is my first attempt at fireworks.

It was Liverpool's 800th birthday this week and they put on a fantastic firework display to music..

Here are the two best i've edited with the Liver buildings in the background.

Awesome shots! Great job! The only thing I can see wrong is the fireworks in the first are blown out a little. Still fabulous shots though.

Number 2 is a great capture. Love the colors and the 'two-stage' fireworks display. I think it would be nice to see some of the fireworks reflected in the water though.

Totaly agree about the reflections but the prom was packed full of people. would of been nice to get closer and lower to the water. Maybe next time i'll get there a little earlier.

Even at this height I had to clone out a head in the bottom right hand corner..

hey, did not know that liverpool was that young!

nice images, the first one looks a bit squeezed though, quite tightlsy cropped with respect to the firework.

again I agree about the cropping in number 1.

number two was the best of the bunch.
