A Beautiful Senior

I did these for free. I am not where I want to be before I begin charging. I worked with her aunt for 2 years at Sonic when I was 15!

1 I added my watermark to this one to get you all's opinion on it. I usually reduce the opacity a little more.

I dont care too much for the pose in #1 (it makes her feet look a bit large!), but I like #2... And whe IS a beutiful senior!

I agree about the pose! I never noticed that before. Haha. I did have her up on the wall a bit more, but she whined and said she wasn't strong enough! Ugh. Oh well! Thanks for the feedback!

I think #2 is great. Can you crop it a bit tighter so that the wall doesn't 'end' behind her?

My thought too, Paige....just a bit cropped off would change this for the better.

Great idea! I tried cloning it, but it didn't look right. I don't know why I didn't just crop it. Lol. I got married yesterday, so I've been super dingy the last few weeks trying to get everything ready! I'm going to blame it on that, but it could just be my lack of experience. Or both! Haha. Thanks guys.

For posing keep an eye on the shoulders being hunched forward, it really gets exagerated when shooting from the side like the first shot.

I like the set up of the first one but do not light that she is hunched over. I think the new crop on the seconds is better and love the picture.

These look fine. I don't shoot seniors, but I've seen other people's work with seniors, and your quality is similar. These girls are obviously not professional models, so her poses seem fine.

Get a big variety of shots. Smiles are important. Try to get some props in there too that reflect their personality. For example, a flower in the hair.
