A beginner of Nikon D90~~

I just got Nikon D90 few days ago, so i am the beginner of it. Hopefully, i can make some friends and get good skills of photograph from this forum!

To cnutco: thanks! I like to shoot landscape, because i am a beginner, so I wanna shoot some scenery first!

this is way way off topic but...how is the BB Torch, im thinking of jumping on the BB wagon for the services as ive seen a number of my friends having them, im indecisive between the Bold/Curve 3G and Torch

I just got a Nikon D90. I was using a Pentax SLR before and it became too expensive to have film developed. Plus, Walmart is the only company that has not 'gone digital'.

Regardless, does anyone know where I can find some basic 101's of photography so I can start using this camera to its full capabilities. OR! Is there a good book that can be recommended?

You mentioned an SLR camera, how much experience do you have with photography in general? Are you new to the whole experience or just to digital? Understanding exposure by Bryan Peterson is a common recommendation around here, I just finished it (my first read-through anyway) and it definitely has some helpful info.

Welcome to the forum. I am another D90 user and I love the camera. I have The Nikon D90 Companion book by Ben Long. I also have Understanding Exposure by Bryan Peterson which is a very helpful book for ... well ... understanding exposure! but the Nikon Companion book is more specific to the D90. :thumbup:
