Untitled by Trever1t, on Flickr

With the help of a TPF member I've been exploring a little bit more into the 'other' tools in LR3. I tried to drop out the green a little in this one, not too much so it looks unnatural. Was I successful?

Beautiful image! Not sure what to say about the green though... I don't see any. Was the background green? It doesn't look unnatural to me.

Thanks Bekah, I guess I was successful! :D
The background is, was dominantly green.

Try and gaussian blur? the band along the tree, and i think it's a keeper.

that band along the tree, don't know but it's in the RAW image. I'm not sure I understand your comment, I should try Gaussian Blur or ? Sorry, hard day at the grind. :D

When typing it i was unsure if it was making sense. Hard day dormshopping (So really not a good excuse).

But really, maybe try and use a gaussian blur on the whole image, just enough to blur the line so there is no band, then add layer mask, and paint with black what you want to keep sharp (her face, upper body, maybe her arm). Done!

creative advertising? "Bust" has several meanings :D

The green seems under control. It is most prominent below the chin, above the left shoulder, through the hair. Nice photo though.
