A couple of shots taken on my holiday.

These are the un-tweaked ones. I shot in RAW, so I am hoping with a small amount of correction in Elements that I can fix the over exposure above the seal's eye and also provide a polarising effect in the second shot [don't have a polarising filter that fits my DX lens ]

What do you think in the meantime?

you need subjects in your sky - birds perhaps, and a ship at the very far distance on the waters. it would look great. try out a star-6-cross filter on the sun and underexpose it by two stops to say about -0.7.
